COMPOSER

Yoshizawa Toru is a composer, musician and lecturer living in Tokyo. He began his career by winning keyboard instrument competitions at the International Electone Festival ’82 Grand Prix Competition. He began his professional career as a founding member of the Japanese electro pop group 3DL (3 deciliters), and began working in commercial and J-pop composition and arranging. Yoshizawa worked on sound production and live concerts with Spiral Life. As a member of the trio Scudelia Electro he was a composer,  lyricist, keyboardist, and music producer. He lectures on music composition at Kurashiki Koho University.

Yoshizawa has worked extensively in anime, music video, commercials and motion picture soundtracks, including: Across a Gold Prairie, Isshin Inudou, Director; Jing, King of Bandits, Watanabe Hiroshi, Dir. ; Jing, King of Bandits: Seventh Heaven, Watanabe Hiroshi, Dir.; Showers, Bryan Jackson, Dir.; Haircut, Bryan Jackson, Dir.
